Used Tires for School Landscaping. Kanacan High School in Brgy. Tamugan, Marilog District will breathe new life to six (6) used tires from Apo Agua Infrastructura, Inc. in time for the school opening this June. The tires will be painted and used as planters for the school’s landscaping project. The tires were turned over last May 20 by Apo Agua Community Relations Officer Jade Gamas-Chiu (left) and Stakeholder Relations Officer Aldwin Dumago (right) to Teachers Dolores Baratas and Glydell Pertos (second and third from left, respectively). Aside from donating used tires, the Apo Agua team also donated maintenance materials and painted the classroom walls of Grades 7, 8 and 9 last Saturday, May 25. Kanacan High School is one of the school-beneficiaries of Apo Agua in this year’s Brigada Eskwela. Apo Agua is Davao City Water District’s partner in the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project where the former will construct and operate a water treatment facility in Brgy. Gumalang, Baguio District. The project’s three-year construction phase began with engineering design works in 2018 and is targeted to commence operations by the first half of 2021.
