Support to Brgy. Tambobong. Six hundred meters of water pipe with plastic connectors were turned over last April to Brgy. Tambobong, one of Apo Agua Infrastructura, Inc.’s five host communities. These will be used to channel water from the source to Sitio Luyan and Sitio Mangas-as where a livelihood project is being implemented for and by the Obu Manuvu tribe. This project is under the Integrated Ancestral Domain Development Approach-Culturally Responsive Economic Program (IADDA-CREP) Project of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Davao City Provincial Office (NCIP DCPO). The pipes and connectors were turned over by Apo Agua representative Rene Adiong (second from left) to Jason Rex Osog (second from right) of the NCIP DCPO. Apo Agua, a joint venture company between Aboitiz Equity Ventures and J.V. Angeles Construction Corporation, will construct and operate a water treatment facility in Brgy. Gumalang, Baguio District for the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project of Davao City Water District.
